Families (and individuals, also) generally plan ahead for life's major events: the purchase of a home, a car or recreational vehicle, purchase of property or life insurance, making a will, providing for the children's education, positioning funds for retirement, etc. So, why post-pone the inevitable? Planning and purchasing cemetery property, and making funeral arrangements in advance of need, are the prudent and sensible things to do!
