| VANSPEC is directed by the Daughters of Saint Mary
of Providence, a congregation founded in 1881, which came into the
Vancouver Archdiocese in 1981. The Sisters have worked extensively with

Volunteer catechists (teacher) or aides are
very dedicated men and women who want to share their faith with the special needs members
of our family of faith. To become a volunteer, no special training is needed. It is the
love of God and the love of neighbour that is the foundation on which our training is
based. |
The Friends of VANSPEC is an auxiliary group, composed
of catechists, parents of students and friends, who help to promote the Program and assist
in its various activities.
If you want to volunteer, but aren't able to do so on a regular basis, perhaps this is the
group for you.
