Promotes Education on issues related to justice and development in the
Third World through presentations, workshops, audio visual and printed
materials and co-ordination with parish D & P groups.

Development and Peace was launched by Canada‘s bishops in 1967 to fight poverty in developing countries and to promote greater international justice. Development and Peace reaches families in poor communities in Africa, Asia and Latin America, and helps people devastated by life-altering disasters such as tsunamis.
