Most Rev. Neil McNeil

Born on November 23, 1851 in Hillsboro, Cape Breton, and was our first secular Archbishop, responsible for establishing suburban parishes and encouraging Catholic settlement in the Fraser Valley.  He left the Archdiocese after two short years to become the Archbishop of Toronto.
