Rt. Rev. Paul Durieu, OMI

Born on December 4, 1830 at Saint Pol-de-Mons in the department of Haute-Loire, France.  He chose to join the Oregon Missions in 1854, and was sent to the Okanagan and St. Mary's Missions.  He was instrumental in expanding the mission territories and built many churches, chapels and schools.
