Most Rev. Augustine Dontenwill, OMI

Born in 1857 in Bischwiller, Alsace, came to the U.S. as a child and was educated at what is now the University of Ottawa.  He caused Holy Rosary Church to be built and several parishes to be established.  His ten year episcopate ended when he was elected Superior General of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate.
